Welcome to the Peer Relations and Adjustment (PRA) Lab.  The PRA Lab is directed by Dr. Jamilia Blake.
The goal of the PRA Lab is to explore how children’s relationships with peers and their family interactions influence their social and emotional adjustment and engagement in school.   We are particularly interested in exploring the peer relations and family interactions of ethnically diverse youth and youth from socially marginalized populations (e.g., children with disabilities).

We are currently undertaking a number of new projects this year.  We have listed many of these projects on our website, but for the latest lab updates and information on current projects, please see our lab newsletters.

In addition to our research initiatives, PRA Lab members also engage in community outreach and service such as providing research briefs for various members of the community. We encourage you to visit our resource page to locate information on issues facing today's youth.
